It is ideally suited for two people but could also accommodate a small family. There is a lift and the apartment is popular with young and elderly alike. There is easy access for wheelchairs. Carvoeiro Beach CARVOEIRO is a picturesque seaside village tucked away between high cliffs which rise steeply from the square and the beautiful beach.There is a three storey restriction on the height of buildings and the ambience of the village has not been spoiled despite its development and increasing popularity. There are many fine restaurants and bars,a good choice of shops and an excellent night life which includes a disco for the teenagers, and bars with live music. The village is surrounded by rural countryside and there are wonderful cliff top walks. Algar Seco with its amazing rock formations is only a 20-minute walk. Golf, tennis, fishing, horse riding, scuba diving etc are all readily available. The apartment comprises a twin bedroom, a lounge/dining room, kitchen, bathroom and a balcony which gets the sun all day. There are numerous restaurants and bars (some with live entertainment)within easy walking distance. Carvoeiro is 45-minutes drive from Faro Airport and cost of car hire is reasonable. Alternatively transport to/from the airport can be arranged. A car is not necessary, but would be useful if you wished to explore the Algarve. Cars can be hired at various places in the village. Alternatively coach tours around The Algarve and to Lisbon and Spain are readily available and can be booked in the village.
